Hines Ward was pressed on a story about hanging out at a Dallas strip club late Monday night.
Check it out, who’s in the middle of the scrum? Is that ESPN1100’s Dug Dugless? Yes it is! Did he ask the tough question? We have no idea. We do know there was a little inconsistency to the Dallas Morning News’ blog report. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wrote:
Ward, Taylor and a number of other “huge linemen” were seen partying at Dallas Gentlemen’s Club on Monday night, Dallas Morning News reporter Gromer Jeffers Jr. wrote on his blog.
“Ward, wearing a plaid shirt and jeans, danced with a couple of strippers. At one point, he tossed out dollars while receiving lap dances. Other Steelers joined him,” according to the report.
Ward denied being at the club but admitted he went out for “a little bit” and “had a good time.” He said he was back at the team hotel by 11:45 p.m.
Jeffers posted the blog entry at 10:50 p.m.
Ward told the media crew that he did go out, but wouldn’t say where.
Someone’s fibbing. Gromer Jeffers Jr. report is a first hand account. So either he’s blind, there’s a Hines Ward look-alike in Dallas or the writer is lying.
