I had my 1st taste of beer....by taste i mean i grabbed 2 "pony" cans
from my grandmothers liquor shelf, hid behind the couch, and downed
them both, when she found me i was passed out with 2 empty beer cans next to
me (true story).....ironically nothing much has really changed.

at the ripe old age of 4 1/2 i was taken to my first cantina by my
grandmother in houston (another true story). my grandma liked to drink.

left my beloved home state of texas and headed west with 10 hits of
acid, $300, a stack of cd's, and as much stuff as i could fit into my
camaro.

i took my 1st step down the road to a career in radio.

got my 1st gig in radio....i was shown the in's and out's by a jedi
master....i was so busy looking up and aiming high that i missed the
piles of crap on the ground....and ironically thats where for the 1st
time i met the wonderful carlota

headed to the world of hip-hop radio....i know i know....that's what i
thought....but it was a great learning experience, i made a name for
myself, i broadened my musical horizons, and i made some great
friends....so i thought

pride and lack of respect led me "across the street" to work for the
competition....the station was great, however the ownership did not
think so and it was "flipped".

i always said that when radio becomes a "job" i would walk away....so i
did.... with a little help from the (wo)MAN.

with a dire need for a creative outlet and just missing radio in
general, i was given the oppurtunity to work for lotus broadcasting
as
a remote engineer for 97.1 the point, 920 espn, 1460 fox sports, and of
course komp.

an oppurtunity arose when komp was in need of a p/t jock....and now
it's all about "outlaw radio"
