Magnum gets his name for his love of Hawaiian style shirts just like a title character in a 1980’s TV show. Magnum graduated from UNLV with a degree in Communications and minored in History so yes he is a geek. He is originally from the Jersey Shore and spent time in Phoenix, Newark, NJ and Colorado Springs before coming to ESPN Radio 1100 and Fox Sports Radio 920. Magnum started in radio as the voice of the Mountain Lions of Sierra Vista High School here in Las Vegas. He also worked as the post game host for the Colorado Springs Sky Sox of the PCL.
