As most of you know by now, Mike and Lorrin along with the Lied Animal Shelter host the Pet of the Week Feature. We are working with Lied as well as the American Dog and Cat Resort to helpthese animals find homes. The Good Dog Food Company will donate two containers of food with every pet adoption. Take a moment out of your day to consider what you could do for one of these animals,and really, what these animals could do for you and your family.

Jack and Jill are 10 month old litter mates and they are Australian Cattle Dog mix. These two must be adopted together, they are inseperable. Jack and Jill have a sad story, they were found together with muzzles imbedded into their faces. They'll have permenant physical scars, but the abuse hasn't broken their sweet nature. Sheba is a very special needs little girl. She's a gorgeous two year old Shepherd mix who needs some extra lovin'. Sheba shows sings of being abused. She's great around women, but is very timid around men. The entire staff at Lied Animal Shelter has really stepped up and been a huge part of her rehabilitation. Sheba's making awesome progress, she's coming out of her shell and is starting to form bonds with people. But unfortunately, Sheba can't stay at the Shelter for much longer--she needs to find her forever home. A family who will understand her special needs and nurture her back from her painful past. Peanut: the Greatest Chihuahua In The World!

Scarlett is a Maltese/Terrier mix and she's about a year old. Scarlett is incredibly playful and seems pretty comfortable around people. This cute little girl has quite the personality, she just may end up as the Queen of the house! Scarlett is young enough that she will respond well to training, and adjust well to the other pets in her new home. Chuck is a 2 year old Basset Hound/Pit mix--and just the most unique dog we've seen in a long time!
This guy is very handsome and very sweet. He's all Basset behind--and a cute Pit head up front! Chuck is very happy, friendly, and healthy. Candy is a 9 month old Pit Bull Terrier. This is one of the sweetest dogs we've had in a long time - she's a lover girl!!! Cany was adopted once before, but came back to the Shelter when her new owners had to move out of state. Candy is a typical puppy, which means a lot of energy, and the need for some training. This cutie LOVES people, she naturally gets along with all other pets, and she'll remain that way in a caring home that provides her with plenty of opportunity to socialize.
