As most of you know by now, Mike and Lorrin along with the Lied Animal Shelter host the Pet of the Week Feature. We are working with Lied as well as Distinctive Dogs Academy to help these animals find homes. Take a moment out of your day to consider what you could do for one of these animals, and really, what these animals could do for you and your family.

Spot is a 2 year old Queensland Healer that was left at a rodeo in Mesquite.  Check out this cutie's very cool coloring!

Toto is 2 year old Wire haired Terrier who's not as sad as this picture make him look.
Toto just really wants to get into his forever home before the holidays!  This little guy is very sweet and friendly, and he is in excellent health.  Toto is a lapdoggie, so if you have room on your lap and you'd like to adopt this cute boy, he's available now at Lied Animal Shelter.

Lexus is a 1 year old Shepherd?Doberman mix.  Lexus has been at the Shelter since she was found wandering the streets on October 2nd.  This sweet girl has been in a kennel for a month and a half, and she really nned s to find her forever home.  Lexus is very friendly and very eager to please--she'd be perfect for a family with children.  As you can see, Lexus is a pretty girl, she's also very happy, healthy and well-mannered.  If you would like to adopt Lexus, she's available now at Lied Animal Shelter.  Her ID# is A325471, and she's in kennel # 5093.


 

                                                                                  Marco is a Terrier/Chihuahua mix and he's about 4 years old.  This tiny guy was a stray, and he's been at the Shelter for a very long time.  Marco is very friendly with people (including kids), but not so much with other dogs.  This cutie would be perfect for an apartment or a house, he's house-trained, well mannered, and very healthy.  If you would like to adopt Marco, he's available now at Lied Animal Shelter.  His ID# is A323000, and he's staying under the "adoption tent" today (Wed. 11/5/08), and then he'll be in kennel # 5004.

Daisey is a 2 year old Border Collie who was left at the Shelter because her owners were moving and couldn\'t take her with them.  Daisey is a very smart girl, she got the looks--and the brains!!  This sweet little girl seems to have had some obedience training, she\'s soooo well mannered.  Daisey is very, very friendly and seems eager to please.  This cutie is ready to go, she\'s spayed, micro-chipped, and healthy.  If you would like to adopt Daisey, she\'s available now at Lied Animal Shelter.

Sept 10th - Cami is a 2 year old Terrier mix--a little odd looking, but very sweet.  Cami is a friendly little guy who was dropped off at the Shelter by his owners who had to move.  It\'s obvious that Cami has been well taken care of, and he\'s very well mannered.  Cami is in excellent health, he\'s vaccinated, micro-chipped, neutered and ready to go!  If you would like to adopt Cami, he\'s available now at Lied Animal Shelter.  His ID# is A317177, and he\'s in kennel # 5025





This is Mickey, we\'re not sure what kind of dog he is, but we do know that he\'s about a year old.  Mickey dreams of becoming a tap dancer someday--he spends alot of time hopping around on his back legs! Baxter is a Lab/Retriever mix and he\'s about 6 years old.  Baxter was dropped off at the Shelter by his owners who had to move away.  So this handsome guy is a little confused about where he\'s at.  However, that doesn\'t keep his tail from constantly wagging!  Baxter has a great attitude--he like everybody, other pets too.  He\'s in very good health, he minds his manners, and good in the car.  Baxter is the perfect addition to any family, especially one with children.  If you would like to adopt Baxter, he\'s available now at Lied Animal Shelter.  His ID# is A311471. and he\'s staying in the "adoption tent" for today (Wednesday 8/6).
